This Mount Tonodake day trip from Tokyo hiking Vlog in Kanagawa Japan, which takes about 1 hour to reach Okura bus station where the trail head begins in Tanzawa-Oyama Quasi-National Park, Tanzawa mountain range. Total hiking time should take about 6 hours for a average hiker to reach the 1491m / 4800+ ft summit. If you want to escape today and find some Japan outdoors activities I recommend this mountain. All the books label it difficult but as you can see anyone, of any age can make it! Believe me -- if I can so can you. Good luck on your journey if you give it a try.
