My family loves fall because that generally signals the transition from a lot of grilling/BBQ/Smoking to hearty comfort meals. We don't have a lot of sweater-weather days in our new home city of Las Vegas but in Seattle, they were pretty much all that way and my kids loved coming home from whatever sports or other activities they were involved with to a meal that was like a warm hug and would stick to their ribs.
