German Establishment Crushed in Thuringian Election

The German establishment was left reeling yesterday after it became clear that the center-right and center-left parties came in 3rd and 4th place respectively in an election in the German state of Thuringia. Slowly, but surely, the anti-establishment parties in the left and right are displacing the two major parties, the CDU and SPD.
