In this episode, Dr. Patricia takes a deeper dive into the second pillar of Wholistic Health, the Sugar Hormones.  In today's society we have a problem with too much sugar in virtually everything we eat, knowingly and unknowingly. Dr. Patricia discusses a whole host of health issues that arise from too much sugar in your system.  From imbalance in your hormones, damage to your tissues (all the way from the skin to the arteries), and debilitating chronic diseases like Type 2 Diabetes and Alzheimer’s, lack of awareness of how much sugar you are consuming can be a killer. Dr. Patricia discusses the many ways sugar is hidden on nutritional labels and ingredient lists of the items you buy regularly, and how to recognize the red flags.  
Take control of your sugar intake, it will make a HUGE difference. The downstream effects of too much sugar also results in a cascading effect on ALL of your hormones. Learn how too much sugar over activates insulin, triggers cortisol and can lead to negative effects on your sex hormones, whether you are male or female.  The list of health issues this leads to is IMMENSE!
