Why Does Dejounte Murray Want To FIGHT Paolo Banchero?!

Things got chippy for Dejounte Murray and the number 1 pick Paolo Banchero. And Dejounte had a lot to say.
Let me explain what happened between these 2 as well as James Harden and Scottie Barnes. What up everybody, my name is Stefan and this is Heat Check. Let’s get into it.
The 2 guys went at it playing wise, but Murray was definitely showing some extra feistiness either throwing the ball at Paolo, or constantly jawing at him.
You saw in that opening sequence how he literally barrels into the rookie for no reason whatsoever, and Banchero just tapped him on the chest as if to say it's all good.
All of that led to this instant viral clip.
The fake, the bounce off the backboard and the dunk. I mean this was a phenomenal move, but you see once again how he throws the ball at Paolo.
And the young fella did not respond to any of this. He did however notice something after the game and posted this on his story.
Lol, unfollowed me on the gram and everything, it must be personal huh? That’s fine, just make sure u guard up next time and stop sending doubles family.
And before we talk about the response from Murray, first I gotta mention that from what I saw from that game, this is 100% true. The rookie got double teamed multiple times, and in some situations it was just to take the ball out of his hands.
Murray then posts his story saying a bunch of nothing. Just look at this.
You tried to flex that number 1 pick stuff on me when I been rooting for you when you was a kid asking to rebound for me. You changed from the humble kid you always was. You made it and changed and I lost all respect. Stay humble bla bla bla…
First of all, this tweet summarizes everything perfectly. On one side he talks about staying humble but then does things like this in every game he’s been so far this summer.
Also, in all of these clips, Paolo didn’t do a single thing kept his composure throughout the battle, and Murray was the instigator for the entire game.
How you gonna say that a guy is soft and then also tell him to be humble?!
To me this smells like a rivalry and I know they’re not done yet, so I’m looking forward to their game in the season.
There was another interesting situation in an entirely different game between James Harden and Scottie Barnes.
As if the playoff loss is still burning him, the reigning rookie of the year literally hounded the beard, picking him up full court, and rejecting him at the rim with force.
His intensity culminated in this sequence where not only he pressed him in the backcourt, but Barnes literally suffocated Harden for the entire possession, forcing up a tough shot and check out how that ended.
Then he proceeds to clap the entire way, just to rub it in more and more.
But what’s interesting is that Harden appreciated that and even praised Scottie in a postgame speech.
So yeah, even tho it’s the middle of August, the NBA still finds a way to give us something interesting to talk about and I love that this time it’s purely because of the competitive spirit of the players and they come out strong even in a random off season game.
