Can you fix / Cover Paneling with only Drywall Compound? Farmhouse Renovation // The Homestead #7

Episode 7 of our Farmhouse restoration takes me into the cellar at first to turn on our furnace. We have a propane forced air furnace which is super efficient and a major upgrade for the home we bought. Then emily and I finish moving out of the motorhome and into our house. Then I begin the sanding process. Our bedroom haad 3 different types of thick wall papers and one wall even had different thicknesses of drywall sheets. So what i did was use a ton of Drywall compound and smooth the edges, cover some wall paper and generally try to make the walls look flat and normal. Then We take a little drive across the island to a real fixer upper that Emily and I considered buying, that actually burnt down!
