Grapevine Demise

I've been substitute teaching quite a bit lately at school. When I came home yesterday, Stan told me he "pruned the grapes" today. I was confused. We prune grapes in the spring. So then I looked outside the window to the south side of the house...I'll show you what I found.

Also, some kids at school were asking about how my garden is doing (it's over with!) and what I'm going to do next. They suggested baking. They also suggested vlogging "a day in the life of a substitute teacher" but really, it's been rather uneventful. I could only make it interesting by embellishing considerably.

We'll think about it. In the meantime, I made something last night I haven't made for at least a year--spicy popped wheat. That will probably be my next video. Or chili-lime sunflower seeds. Or pumpkin seed halvah. Or chipotle chocolate bark and espresso chocolate bark. Or aerushti and pears.

You see, I still have ideas...
