15$ DIY Desk build - Day 1 building The table top | The Homestead S2E1

Welcome to Season 2 of the homestead. In this video I begin building my desk for my small room Youtube studio, I use pine wood because it is cheap and easy to use, it's a soft wood and not very durable but this is the first time I've every really made my own furniture so I wanted to start with materials and techniques that I can manage. In this video I cut the pine board down to the size I want and then use clamps and wood glue to attach them together. In the next video I make the legs for this desk using a technique that will keep all screws and fasteners hidden giving this desk a minimalist and professional look to it.
