In this episode of the homesteading series I show the process of how to separate clay from any soil using a technique called washing the soil. This separates the soil from a mix into sand, clay, silt, and rocks and then you ae able to filter that and extract whichever of these components you want. I want clay because I plan to mix that with beach sand and wheat paste to form a natural plaster for a functional art piece in my YouTube studio space.
