The Monkeypox outbreak has triggered a global health emergency by the World Health Organization, and the U.S. may be the next to sound the alarm as the virus continues to spread. NBC News medical contributor Dr. Kavita Patel explains that it can be contracted through prolonged contact with fluid coming off the Monkeypox rash, whether skin to skin or with items contaminated by infectious fluid. Kissing someone infected or exposure to their sneezes or coughs can also cause spread of the infection. The health department is scrambling to distribute vaccines as the demand for additional doses rises. » Subscribe to NBC News: http://nbcnews.to/SubscribeToNBC
