Vanlife has a special place in my heart and in this episode of what I learned from I talk about my 3 different van dwelling experiences with the latest and longest one being 9 months of living in our 1988 Toyota campervan. I talk about the high of travel and how it opened up my eyes to another way of life, one where you can feel present and joy much more than the one I was living before that was much more stagnate. I talk about the challenges of vanlife especially the ones we faced because of our bad timing of getting into the van only a couple months before the pandemic hit in full force, shutting down many of the facilities we relied on. I talk about how Vanlife ultimately for us was too unstable, and was just a step in the direction of housing security that we feel like we need to feel okay.
