CDC Deaths Removing Deaths Reporting System MMWR

This video reviews quickly the dataset found here:

The review takes two snapshots of the dataset and compares them.
Quick and dirty is: CDC is removing and adding, depending on the state, often hundred of deaths, 5-7 months after the fact. Whether due to misreporting at the state level (underreporting for months) or misclassification or holding for verification (CDC), a later report should not be adding or subtracting deaths in the magnitudes these reflect.

There may be plenty of reasons for this. And those caveats are used on their site.
