The 98 Rock Album Vol III is the third attempt by WIYY Baltimore to showcase local music while helping a good cause. Like before a contest was held and votes were cast for regional musicians and the eight winners received studio time to produce a song for the album and were played and promoted on 98 Rock. A limited pressing was made and sold with the proceeds going to a local charity.
