THE STRANGE WORLD OF PLANET X 1958 (aka The Cosmic Monsters in the USA) - A rural British lab uses a device to create intense magnetic fields. This brings a friendly visitor from space warning against such experiments with the Earth's magnetic field as this could create mutations. One night, after a lightning storm effects the device, strange and deadly things start happening in the nearby forest.

Another fine British Science Fiction outing, cashing in on the success of Hammer’s Quatermass films. As usual, a very literate and well-conceived plot admirably presented as the British know to do. FX are on par for the time, but good enough to keep us engaged (Subscribe to this channel as some videos are not monetized and/or not searchable)
