Description
Welcome to The Crimson Cat’s Comic Art Master Class.
Because complete comic book artwork depends so much on having a clear knowledge of your technique, many artists struggle to accomplish this even after learning the foundations.
So, in this session, I’ll share my own technique with you and demonstrate how to do it if you want to regularly produce great comic art that wins the admiration of your colleagues and dazzles your followers.
The digital process you’re going to learn is one I’ve taught hundreds, if not thousands, of students over the years. Regardless of the intricacy of the illustration, you’re working on, you’ll be able to use this approach again. It is straightforward, simple to use, and will help you get consistent outcomes in your job.
We’ll begin right away with a simple rough drawing to get our concept down on paper. Then, using different crosshatch and detailing approaches, they render the materials and textures after drawing the contour in ink and adding the shadows. In order to give our comic art a new degree of depth and dimension, we’ll add a dash of color and some color to add mood and drama to the artwork.
Any talent requires a lot of time, effort, and practice to perfect, but having a reliable, go-to technique is half the fight.
As a result, you should notice major changes in your work and feel much more secure taking on comic book artwork of any size and complexity after completing this class and learning the methodology you’re going to discover.
I had a lot of fun drawing the artwork I’ve been using as an example in this session, and I can’t wait to walk you through it all step by step.
So grab a stylus and fasten your seatbelt, and let’s begin!
