While mounting a camcorder to this teleprompter, I used my own spacers to make the camera fit snugly against the base-plate. I neglected to notice a ring spacer in the bag of parts that is designed for this purpose. You will not have to use your own spacing materials.

I installed a 3rd Party teleprompter app to use with the Leeventi. This was not necessary. The Leeventi comes with a code good for one free year of Voice Teleprompter software. However, the Voice Teleprompter software is browser based, and I had difficulty getting it to work with the bluetooth controller. Also scripts cannot be imported from a text file, and they cannot be saved.

Finally, a representative from Leeventi suggested an alternative approach for using this teleprompter with a larger camera by removing the black camera mounting plate, and putting the camera on a 2nd tripod. This method works, but makes changing camera shots more time consuming, as two tripods have to be adjusted for each setup.
