Hong Kong Students Take Up Arms Against Government

Violent resistance to state tyranny is becoming more and more acceptable in Hong Kong as students there take up medieval arms to counter the government's crackdown on seditious college campuses. The situation in Hong Kong is still escalating, but there is a limit to how much either side can reasonably escalate the intensity of their actions. Neither side as I see it can break this stalemate without doing more harm than good.
