The Viral Delusion - with Michael Wallach

Michael Wallach is the creator of the seven hour documentary series, The Viral Delusion, which focuses on that most controversial and divisive of claims: that viruses either don’t exist, or aren’t responsible for the diseases we attribute to them.

Michael has been in the perhaps unique position of interviewing many of the leading thinkers in this area. In this interview I ask him about his own intellectual journey of coming to embrace such a seemingly radical position.

We also talk extensively about Michael’s time at the US State Department, where he once worked as a Middle East advisor. What he learnt there, about the nature of entrenched bureaucracies, coloured his future view of the medical industrial complex.
