Why We Must Hate Sin & Love God

If you have the heart of God, you will hate sin. If you have the heart of God, you will hate iniquity. If you have the heart of God, you will hate disobedience. Not in others, but in ourselves because it is that which caused our precious Lord to be crucified on Calvary. It is the thing that caused God to become a man and to walk in the midst of humanity and to take upon himself, our iniquities. We must hate sin, and Love God.

If you had a lovely wife and precious children and some maniac came in and murdered and raped your family, would you not hunt him down for the rest of your life to bring vengeance onto one?

If you did not know Christ, would you not hunt down that devious devil that murderer, that rapist who killed your precious wife and your precious children? I'm telling you, this is what Jesus came to do, for this purpose. He came to this earth to destroy the power of sin over our lives. Jesus said the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy.

Don't tell me you love God if you have no passion for Him. You have passion for what you love. How do I know if I love God? I will have passion for him. Prayer will no longer become a duty; it will become a pleasure. Meditating on the word no longer will be a job, it will be a delight.
