China state TV shows military drills around Taiwan

Chinese state television CCTV released on Sunday (August 7) footage of military exercises conducted by the People's Liberation Army's Eastern Theatre Command near Taiwan, which it said took place a day earlier. Reuters couldn't independently verify where or when the drills took place.
