Trump Pardons War Criminals

Trump's recent decision to pardon both one convicted and two indicted war criminals exposes the Pentagon's scheme of scapegoating individual soldiers who commit war crimes in order to cover up bigger and more damning war crimes committed by higher level officers. These prosecutions essentially allow the Pentagon to look tough on war crimes by making an example of a few unlucky soldiers all the while ignoring the vast majority of war crimes committed under their watch.
