I sit with my back to the mirror
so I don’t see,
the things that I don’t want to see.

But the things that lie within me
can not hide from the dreams.

So that which lies within us all
stays shifting, as it rises and falls.

Eventually, the tides come through
and the waves will burn.

Burning through all we know
the reality, and dreams of truth.

inked a sketch from 20 years ago when I visited Beijing to improve my Mandarin Chinese skills.
This image is titled in Japanese because it is from a time when I was still studying Japanese because I admired Japanese comics and animation.
While I was in Beijing, my art style Completely changed and everyone I drew had these eyes. I wondered if there was something in my food. But now I’ve realized that many other factors could be at play since I’m fairly sensitive to energy and I had not learned proper energy work at that time. I maintained myself intuitively and was healthier … and also younger (20 years younger lol).
