getting rid of undesirable habits, terrible experiences, incorrect ideas, unhealthy connections with others, etc.

As a result, we let worry, anxiety, and depression rule our thoughts and influence how we behave in the present. However, clinging to the past prevents you from appreciating the beauty of the present. And you are unable to recover and let love and happiness fill your heart.

Each of us has a past that has shaped who we are now. However, neither it nor we are constrained by it. The ability to define who we are belongs only to us. We are the only ones who can control our lives, our present, and our future.

The past cannot be changed.
We waste much too much of our valuable time thinking backwards. "I wish I could just go back and fix that error." Why did I get that treatment? "I wish I had chosen for myself sooner."

By letting go of your past difficulties, errors, failures, and worries, you create space for something new to appear. There are countless incredible and thrilling chances out there just waiting to be explored. When you give yourself permission to put the old experiences behind you, new ones will come knocking.

It's difficult to let go of things like old habits, difficulties, and relationships that aren't in your best interests. We must step outside of our comfort zone. This is the reason why a lot of us want to keep things as they are. We never seem to run out of justifications for why we shouldn't let go of their history. However, making the decision to let go will make you more safe and strong. It enables you to concentrate on what needs to be done in order to live in the present and develop into who you truly are. You'll discover how to overcome every obstacle that comes your way. You'll be able to control your life and your ambitions as a result.

You are the unique and special person you are now as a result of your past experiences. A terrific first step to appreciating and embracing your own body and narrative is realizing this. Everybody has a past, and nobody is faultless. You can say let go of the past affirmations, positive affirmations (if it helps) but there's nothing like actually starting to forgive yourself
