Revelation Lesson-40: The Return of the King - Part II

Today we are in Lesson-40 in the series “Come Lord Jesus!” from the book of Revelation.
 
This lesson is titled “The Return of the King – Part II” and our focus passage is Revelation 19:11-21.
 
Please find your way in your Bible to that passage.

In our previous episode, we began our study of Revelation 19. This chapter is focused on the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in all His glory.
 
This means, His physical, visible return to this earth to complete the work of restoration.
 
Jesus made a promise (cf. Matthew 24:29-31; John 14:1-3; I Thess 4:13-17), and this is the moment in which that promise is fulfilled.

From the moment Jesus ascended to heaven from the Mount  of Olives (cf. Acts 1:9-11), this is the moment that the church has been waiting for over 2,000 years.
 
He is coming back to judge and to rule. Last time, we focused on “The Worship of the King” (v1-6) and “The Wedding of the King” (v7-10).
 
In today’s lesson we are going to focus on the “The War of the King” (v11-21).
