Always be on the lookout for things you might need. Here I've been looking for some lumber to build food storage shelves, I was patient found a local auction or someone had passed away. A pile of lumber no one wanted to mess with. I took it home for $25 (#125-$150 @ Lowe's). I ripped the boards into 2 x 4s and I am good to go.
