NATO-Troops in Ukraine 2014-2022

Why is the fact that NATO armed and trained Ukraine since 2014 until it was the second largest army in Europe not discussed or even widely reported in the western media? Wouldn't it be important to understand the situation?

Why was NATO led by USA arming Ukraine since 2014 in preparation of clearing out ethnic Russian from Donbas Region instead of supporting the Minsk II agreement?
Why to push Ukraine into a war and to pull away from a peaceful solution with Minsk II on purpose?
Why creating images "that won't go unnoticed in Moscow" and thereby provoking unwanted reactions?
