If RL Dabney had racist views does that make GTY's @Phil Johnson racist too?

In this video, I will discuss deceased theologian RL Dabney and his writings. Toward the end of Dabney's life, he espoused views that would make him guilty of the sin of partiality. He wrote some racist things. Assertions have been made that anyone who supports the theological positions of an individual must automatically agree with other ideologies that said person may have believed. We will examine the illogical and fallacious nature of such an assertion and how anyone who makes such broad sweeping statements is not interested in truth but rather more interested in fomenting divisions and causing dissension where none exists.

I started Dear Woke Christian as a response to the turmoil of 2020. I saw the error in thinking within the Christian community and I wanted to provoke us to think Biblically about issues. So I started writing letters. My hope is to stir up conversation and critical thinking above emotions. Though emotions are good in context much of what's being pushed is "Act now, think later". That's far removed from a Biblical approach and I wanted to stir my brothers and sisters to ask better questions.
