Russian court jails Griner for nine years; US calls for release

US basketballer Brittney Griner has been jailed for nine years by a Russian court.
The sentence comes nearly six months after Moscow airport security staff found vape cartridges containing cannabis oil in her luggage.
But the US is describing the ruling as a miscarriage of justice.
