A new film has been released about late Philippine leader Ferdinand Marcos Sr, who presided over widespread human rights abuses.
Marcos Sr amassed an estimated $5bn-$10bn of unexplained wealth, and was responsible for tens of thousands of wrongful imprisonments, torture and killings during his rule, according to human rights advocates.
His son is the current president.
Critics say the film is yet more “whitewashing” of history.
