Can CBD help you Sleep?
CBD May Help you Sleep Much, much better
Do you struggle to fall asleep at night?
Maybe you are one of the unlucky ones who constantly keeps wakes up.
Perhaps you have frequent nightmares?
Sleep deprivation can play havoc with your life.
It can make you forgetful, irritable and certainly doesn’t help your libido!
So, what are the solutions?
Well sleeping pills make you drowsy the next day.
Alcohol may get you to sleep, but it’s not a deep REM sleep.
Then there’s CBD, cannabidiol.
One of those clever boffins at Harvard Medical School, Doctor Peter Grinspoon, wrote that “CBD is commonly used to address anxiety, and for patients who suffer through the misery of insomnia, studies suggest that CBD may help with both falling asleep and staying asleep,”
How does it do all this?
By reducing the levels of the stress hormone cortisol in your body.
Less cortisol means your central nervous system can calm down and you can relax more, with less tension in your muscles.
So, when’s a good time to take CBD? We reckon about an hour before you go to bed….
