Propper Men's Series 100 6" Side Zip Waterproof Boot

Ok, still testing this boot out but I have noticed a few issues. The boat does not seem fully waterproof at this point but still need to make sure I am using it properly.

Ankle guard internal material has taken skin off my ankle.

Boot is not actually slip resistant, or atleast is not fully slip resistant, boot is still slipping on wet rocks, angled rocks such as 45 degree downward rock ramp. Possible trip hazard on roots if it catches the heals ledge, or placement along valley of sole of boot along angular object that fits into the valley.

I was most suprised that the tounge of the boot allows water penetration even when tightly tied. It appears there is a hole that allows drainage into the internal fabric padding of the boot at the bottom of the tounge. This seems a massive design flaw that I will need to look into in more detail. I think at this point I need to contact proper to get info on this to see if it is a product defect or if the boot is intended to perform this way.
