Mushroom Powder Dried by Home Radiator. For Veggie Meats

How I make my healthy organic easy cheap mushroom powder by drying them by heat of my radiator. Umami full perfect for many veggie meat recipes.
This is a healthy winter hack as i am not using additional resources and maximizing the usage of heat already on.

I have a box of organic white mushrooms, you any use any type you like.
Separate caps from stalks.
Slice them in half an inch roughly about 2 cm.
Spread them all out on a kitchen towel.
So you can place them directly on top of a hot radiator.
These are the ones I have started a few days ago.
They are almost done. Can you hear the crunch?
Fold them neatly in the paper & Place directly on the radiator.
I am using another sheet on top to wrap them up, so they won't fall.
Add a little weight on top to keep it closed.
About 3 days later. Check them every day & move them around often
It's very cold here at the moment, we have the heating on almost all day long.
It's the 7th day now, they are totally dried & ready to be stored.
They fall apart easily when I crunch them. There is no moisture left.
Mushroom powder is very expensive, This was only £1 for the mushrooms & heating is already on.
Mushroom powder enhances vegan, veggie, raw recipes & fake meat dishes.
It's a healthy & delicious seasoning, savory, full of umami & very good for you.
To obtain a fine powder, Place it in a coffee grinder for about 1 minute.
This powder has a very strong powerful flavour, a little goes a long way
And here it is, it smells delicious.
Store in a glass jar with a lid. It should last for months on your counter.
I will use it in some veg meat dishes & will post on here soon. So watch this space...
A Very tasty, easy, Cheap & super healthy addition to your pantry.
