120g of organic pitted prunes.A mason jar with a lid.About 250ml of fresh, pure water. Filtered or Distiller would be ideal.
A pair of scissors to chop the prunes easily.I chop the prunes to ensure that there are no accidental or residual pit in them at all,As these will go directly in the blender after soaking.
Add the 250ml of pure cool water. The water must cover the prunes completely.
Now cover the jar with the lid. Shake the prunes around a bit so that the water can get absorbed better.
Place the jar in the fridge for at least 8 hours. Overnight is best.When time is up, take the prunes, shake them again really well.
They are now really plumped and juicy as they have absorbed all the water.Pour them in a blender. Blend them for 1 minute at high speed (start low first).Now, we have a delicious smooth jam consistency.
Pour it in the mason jar. This Jam will last for over a week if stored in the fridge.
It’s a super healthy tasty sweet, smooth. Just 1 tablespoon a day helps us being regular.
