In this video I am making my Low Calories, Low Carbs, lose weight King Oyster Slimming Veggie 'Juicy Steaks'. From my 'Mock Meat' Series, Part 2

These mushrooms have mild flavor & a very 'meaty' texture, perfect for many 'mock meat' dishes .
Remove top & bottom & reserve them for later uses
Cut them in half length ways.
Repeat with the other mushrooms. I have 6 in total, they make 2 portions.
The tops & the bottoms for later recipes.

In a frying pan melt 20 g of unsalted butter + 1 dessert spoon of veg oil.
Add the mushrooms flat sides up.
Put a heavy weight directly on top of them, to flatten them am using cast iron pan.
Let them cook at high for 5 mins.

Then, Turn them around, cook other side with weight on for 5 mins at high.
Now, remove weight, cook at high for 5 mins & let any releases liquid evaporate.
Add a pinch of dry garlic granules, a pinch of pepper & some dry parsley .
(DO NOT add salt until ready to eat it)

Lower the heat at minimum, cover with a lid & cook for 3 to 4 mins.
And they are done, ready to be served.

They are juicy, soft but firm texture, so they mimic mini ' steaks' really well.
The water has evaporated out, leaving a pleasant stretchy muscly texture.
Slimming, light, filling veggie mock meat, super tasty & very Healthy.
Add salt only when ready to eat, as it may draw out more liquid, making them soggy.
Perfect for any low calorie diet. It helps us lose weight easily & effortlessly.
