FRUITROPIC FREEZE DRIED strawberries

Another dollar store item at dollorama. The fruit is grown in China and and imported into Canada. I can't understand how it is cheaper to import apples and strawberries into North America from China than produce them here. Makes no sense.

The thing i love about these is that they smell so good. What I don't understand is why they add sugar to them. It is a major loss for an organic food to have added sugar.
