God Answers Our Prayers! * 1 John 5:14 * Today’s Verses

John explains the confidence we can have in our prayers being answered. The assurance is that God always listens to us; He hears every request we make of Him. While John assures us that our prayers will be answered, there is one caveat; our prayers need to be in harmony with His divine will. How do we know when our prayers align with His will? If our prayers align with Scripture or are prompted by the Holy Spirit, we can be sure they are in harmony with His will. We can know with certainty that these requests made to Him in prayer will be granted. While we can be sure that God hears our prayers according to our human desires, He has not promised to fill such requests.
