A Veteran's Voice: Filipino soldiers who fought in WWII to be honored in Kern County ceremony

Kern County will take part in a ceremony this weekend to recognize Filipino soldiers who fought for the U.S. during World War II. Local family members of Filipino soldiers during WWII will be presented with a bronze replica of the Congressional Gold Medal that rests in the Smithsonian.
