Leaks Confirm Iraq War Only Helped Iran

New leaks out of Iraq show that Iran has operated an extensive espionage network since the US invaded in 2003 and overthrew their arch nemesis, Saddam Hussein. The Iraq invasion was a part of a larger plan outlined in "A Clean Break" (https://web.archive.org/web/20140125123844/http://www.iasps.org/strat1.htm), which was supposed to weaken Iran and empower Israel. Based on how pervasive the Iranian influence network was in the later years of the Iraq war however, it must've been plainly obvious to the Bush administration that continuing the war only served to further Iran's interests. Nevertheless, the bipartisan foreign policy establishment marched on, causing the deaths of untold thousands, just to avoid admitting their miscalculation.
