Here is the thing, some sale prices are still lower than old regular prices but I am seeing other items slowly creep up. While there does appear to be fewer products this is likely due to places simplifying their supplies to focus on flagship products that sell at high volume rather than products that do not have high sales volumes. One of my benchmarks the price of coffee on my "Economy" coffee product has gone up from $1 to $1.25 although it is a dollar store that generally has prices at 25 cent increments up to $4 or so.
