More trekking! Feeling the altitude sickness, and draining energy. Describing the landscape and challenges. Our porters carry our bags for us, but we keep a small backpack with a camel bag to keep up our fluids (drinking 4-5 litres of electrolyte water a day), and eating dense energy snacks like chocolate bars and nuts. The backpack is feeling heavy, causing shoulder pain. We trek for 7-9 hrs a day, and when we arrive at camp, dinner is ready! It's delicious food and there's SO much of it! Daniel our guide is awesome! He reminds us "Pole pole" to walk very slowly to acclimatize. It works!
