War on Terror Coming to US Homeland?- Trump to Declare Cartels Terror Organizations

With Donald Trump now threatening to declare Mexican Drug Cartels terrorist organization, what so many people warned about for years may finally come true. Designating groups as widespread and amorphous as the drug cartels "terrorist organizations" gives the US Federal Government an opening to transplant the regime of the War on Terror into the American homeland. This could very easily spiral into the greatest erosion of civil liberties in America since the end of reconstruction.
