Making of August Gem a Coconut Oil Cold Process Soap

Hi Everyone! :) thanks for taking the time to watch my video.

Today is the making of August Gem, which is part of my August 2022 Release.

I decided to do another coconut oil soap again because I really love how it feels on my skin. It's not quite 100% coconut oil though... I added 5% castor oil to help sustain the bubbles.

I also did a mix of fragrance oils. Both FOs are from The Flaming Candle. The first is Lime Basil Mandarin and the second is Bergamot. It smells really good and, while it's a bit mild, the scent stuck through cure. Yay! :D

I chose Jade Green from Nurture Soap for the color because it seemed to be the closest match to Peridot, which is the August birthstone. I think it came out pretty close. ;)
