"TheGlassman" takes his first trip on one of the infamous Albuquerque A.R.T. buses!
Free Rides until Jan 1, 2020!

After a couple years delay, the Albuquerque Rapid Transit (A.R.T.) Buses finally open to passengers on Nov 30, 2019.
This has been a long anticipated and expected project that cost the tax payers millions of dollars for what they thought was going to be a fleet of all electric buses for a new green environmental solution. But after several failed attempts to get the project going, the city decided against the electric buses and purchased several new buses which run on fuel still making them not so environmentally friendly as the city hoped and paid for which is a bummer.

After many delays the A.R.T. Buses are finally running!
And they seem to be running smoothly and also rapidly. As you can see in the video we catch almost every light heading west bound on Central Blvd from Louisiana Blvd to Cornell Dr right in front of UNM. According to the video this trip took us about 10 minutes.
