Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on August, 3 2022

▪️In the northern Kharkiv Region Russian Armed Forces are fighting with Ukrainian formations near Borshchova, Vesele and Dementiivka.

▪️Russian army struck AFU military infrastructure facilities in Kholodna Hora and Novobavar districts of Kharkiv.

▪️Fighting for liberating Yakovlivka continues. Russian artillery and MLRS fire at AFU positions in the settlement.

▪️In Soledar, fighting is reported on the approaches to KNAUF Gips Donbass. However, the control over the eastern outskirts of the city has not yet been confirmed.

▪️Near Bakhmut (Artemivsk), AFU failed to counterattack near Pokrovs'ke. Three battalions suffered significant losses in manpower and armored vehicles.

▪️DPR People's Militia supported by Russian artillery conducts an offensive in Donetsk direction attempting to expand the security zone around the Donetsk agglomeration.

▪️Somalia Battalion and DPR People’s Militia’s 11th regiment advancing in Pisky gained a foothold near the dam and took control over about half of the village.

▪️Positional fighting continues in Mar'inka, where advancing DPR forces are trying to gain control of the strategically important waste heap of Shchurivka mine.

▪️In Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian Armed Forces hit the command post of AFU´s 65th Mechanized Brigade by artillery fire near Yul'ivka.

▪️In Mykolaiv Region, missile and artillery ammunition depots and fuel storage facilities in Varvarivka and Halytsynove were destroyed.

▪️In Lviv Region, high-precision air-launched missiles destroyed a storage base with foreign-made weapons and ammunition.
