Hi folks, this is no ordinary Homestead vlog! Thanks for checking out Kapper Outdoors! First of all, we are capable of learning, LOL, and here is our last viral wildlife video, that we have greatly improved upon this time!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14CxOJjD5xA&t=15s
So now on to this amazing wildlife video! This is an absolutely amazing capture of some pretty rare wildlife activity, especially for a place like Illinois! OK, we are FAR Southern Illinois, very far removed from any major cities, and located way out in the middle of knowwhere (pun intended for sci fi junkies:). So my wife, Mrs. Kapper was just relaxing on a Saturday morning when she saw all kinds of commotion going on in our yard with several nice bucks running around and chasing a doe, pushing the whitetail doe into the ponds swimming for her life to get away from the bucks and several Coyotes that were waiting on shore for a potential meal! She video taped this amazing wildlife encounter of a Whitetail buck chasing, and swimming after a doe. It is the 'rut' in the whitetail deer woods so that buck is trying to breed this doe, but he could easily drown her in the process! To make matters worse, they caught the attention of a couple of large, adult coyotes, who thought that the doe might get tired enough and drown, or be weak enough that they could take her down and take advantage of a very large meal! While this may not be 'how farms work,' We do have some fantastic footage, which includes some great drone footage from my DJI Phantom 4 pro drone!
