Topic: Jesus’ disciples recognized that He like to speak to people in parables. To me, speaking in parables is such a gift, for they draw on what is familiar to the listener to help give the message. The language of Jesus’ love is universal and with the gift of the Holy Spirit, we all are able to not just hear but understand what Jesus teaches us to help us on our journey. The Bible is a rich, infinite source of God’s love for us, and in it we can find all that we need for our daily lives. Especially if you find it difficult to hear God whispering to your heart, pick up the Bible, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to a random page, and spend some time the the versus you were led to. God’s loving word is always there to guide and encourage us!
