National Memorial in Bangkok - Thai Military History Museum
Located on the northern outskirts of Bangkok past the city’s domestic airport, the poorly named National Memorial is a museum dedicated to the highlights of Thai military history.
Like just about every other military museum in the country it’s obscure and requires visitors to make an appointment. There are no entry fees which is unusual for most sites in the city. The only day you can walk in without having an appointment is usually on children’s day.
So is the museum worth visiting? It’s an interesting way to spend a few hours if you want to get away from the shopping malls and traffic in Bangkok.
