Who says the Church is afraid of the Historical Critical Method? She welcomes it.

A response to a common charge that the channel ought to be focused on applying historical criticism to Christianity? In brief, my answer is that it already has been done and is part and parcel of Biblical exegesis whereas Islam lives in fear of it and it is left to us to do so.
