Yazidism has both baptism and circumcision!

Mel first discusses whether there is any historical evidence for the Nesara group. Mel looks at a form of baptism which makes the candidate as "lamb of Yazid". There appears to be two different forms practiced: full immersion and a sprinkling of water on the head. Circumcision is also practiced but it is not obligatory. Finally, Mel looks at the wider sense of what Yazidism is. It doesn't accept the idea of sin, the devil or hell. Fasting and prayer are both practices that can be done vicariously, ie by getting others to do it for oneself. Yazidism reveals a similar level of syncretism that is also found in Islam.
