NT Bible Study 35: begin: Jews vs. Samaritans (Jesus to Passover b/f John in prison part 10)

This is a comparative Bible study on the events surrounding Jesus attending the Passover (John 2:12 – 4:43) after Jesus was baptized, but before John the Baptist was put in prison. This 10th part begins a discussion on past conflicts between the Jews and Samaritans. During this setting, Jesus is traveling through Samaria on his way to Galilee (John 4:4 – 4:43). Other verses referenced during this Bible study are: Joshua 24:32, Genesis 12:6-7, John 8:47-48, 2 Samuel 19:43, 1 Kings 11:34-36, 1 Kings 16:23-24, 1 Kings 14:30, 1 Kings 15:7, 1 Kings 15:16, 2 Chronicles 19:2ii, 2 Chronicles 22:9-10, 2 Chronicles 25:6-7, 2 Chronicles 25:21-22, 2 Kings 16:5, and 2 Kings 17:22-24. Overall, this is our 35th New Testament (NT) Bible study.
